This skirt is made from the same pattern as the brown one I made last summer - the Jersey Garden Skirt from Sew Liberated - but full length so I can wear it even when the weather turns cool. I think it took me about an hour to sew from start to finish (including cutting out the pieces) and I have been wearing it ever since. I can see it being a regular feature of my fall wardrobe: simple and easy going, it will look fine for work but is so comfortable it will be perfect for napping on the couch on weekend afternoons.
A few quick technical notes: The fabric is an organic cotton jersey - exactly the same stuff as my brown skirt but a different colour. My skirt is about 36" from waistband to hem. I left the hem unfinished. All seams were sewn with my regular sewing machine set on a mock-serge stitch (I have a serger but haven't quite figured out the tension on it).
