I tried out a new hair style on Friday. What do you think? On a little girl I think these are usually called 'Heidi Braids' but I'm not sure if that holds for an adult. It was a really handy style for getting my hair out of the way and didn't have the weight of a bun.

It's a little more hat friendly than a bun too - I was able to wear my beret over the braids. My beret isn't very warm (must make a warmer one) but that was okay because the weather wasn't very cold (-1 degrees Celsius!). I'd like to find some more up styles for long hair (the kind that take pins not hairspray). My hair now reaches half way down my back and I think it's going to be kind of hot against my neck when summer finally arrives.

Rob says I should wear my hair this way for St. Patrick's Day next year (it probably helps that I was wearing a green top).

I've now told Rob about it three times (in about two minutes) because I can't sit still long enough to stay in my chair (I did manage to send my address and a thank you before I got to this though).
