I finally got these socks photographed and into my sock drawer over my Christmas break. I finished them early in December but just never found the time and light to get some nice pictures. I started them way back in June and they've been my carry-around project for most of the year. They've been worked on in waiting rooms for the dentist and doctor, power outages at the office, spare moments between when I finish work and when I meet Rob to go home, and knit nights when I was too lazy to bring something more complicated.
The stripes are six rounds each and I worked a joggles jog at the beginning of each stripe for as smooth a look as possible. I worked the heel of each sock in the middle of a six round set to keep the stripes going the way I wanted. I can never decide when I'm wearing these if I like the dark toe or the light toe better.
Fred is always a willing assistant for a knitted object photo shoot.
