I had a t-shirt I never really wore. It was a lovely shade of grey but the neck was just a bit too high and the sleeves just a bit too short. It was the shirt I wore when it was the only shirt left. Then I cut the front open. I cut the sleeves shorter too. I sewed on some elastic lace. I turned in those cut edges and sewed them into a casing. I threaded a ribbon through that casing. I put it on.
I don't have a t-shirt I never wear anymore. I have a cute shrug that turns hot weather tops into something I can wear to work and works so well with a nursing tank I should have thought of doing it a year ago.
