10 Moments in June

I’m cheating a bit here. This little quilt for my nephew was finished in May, but it didn’t get mailed until June so I decided it counts. Though it took me much longer than I’d planned, this quilt was a lot of fun to make and I love the way it came out. The back is a soft cotton flannel in an alphabet print.

Yesterday we cut Maisie’s hair for the first time. We’ve been talking about it on and off for a while. There was something lovely about leaving her hair uncut - the last bits of baby-ness were contained in the very fine hairs at the bottom - but it was getting more and more difficult to manage. Just popping in with a quick picture of Maisie and Lily in their matching Christmas sleepers. They were Maisie's idea and she picked the fabric (a cosy French terry).
