We got back from our vacation around lunch time yesterday. We had a good time in Edmonton and I thought I would share it as a bunch of pictures. Sometimes we go on vacation and I'll take almost no pictures at all, other times I find myself keenly aware of how things might look as stills when we get home; this was one of those times. The picture above is my lemonade from dinner Sunday night; it was so refreshing.
-----
Rob's sock-in-progress (second one) and tea on the airplane.
Reading in Cargo and James. I found Amy Butler's Midwest Modern in the bookstore and just savoured the pictures. It's a very inspiring book.

Candle sticks at The Continental Treat.
Pickle soup - it sounds weird but is so good.
This bridge is so high above the river that it makes you dizzy to look down.
Everything ready for an Anne Taintor themed bachelorette party.
Really - how could it be cooler?
Me as a bride's maid for one of my dearest friends.
I took off my shoes whenever it was practical to stop my feet from getting sore. They are very cute shoes.
The bride in a fountain. It was her idea. She got completely soaked and looked her most radiant.
New shoes.
Bananas Foster.
A happy sight to return home to.
