I got yarn in the mail today. Two lovely packages arrived just after I got home this evening (and after I'd checked our empty-for-the-fourth-day-in-a-row mailbox). I've been eagerly waiting for both of these packages so it was especially fun to have them arrive together.

Rob's bug socks, half way through the second toe. Clearly I wasn't knitting fast enough.

As I see it, these are my options:

1) Finish the sock with another colour (I might have a green around somewhere). Certainly the speediest, easiest option but not the most aesthetically pleasing.

My November sock yarn arrived last Tuesday evening but I wasn't able to find enough light to photograph it until Thursday afternoon. Like the last shipment this yarn is a beautiful dark colour. I didn't really see the colours in it until I was pulling it out to photograph. Delicious, warm and spicy.

One of the great bonuses of being in the Rockin' Sock Club this year was a coupon for 10% off at Blue Moon Fiber Arts. It was good until December 1st and it took me most of the year to decide what I wanted to get. I finally placed my order at the beginning of November and it arrived last week. So you all know exactly what I did as soon as I finished my last post right? I cut open my sock club package (and then remembered the handknit socks that had been sitting in the sink in the laundry room for the last hour while I was typing and rushed to wring them out and hang them up) and pulled out the yarny goodness inside.
