Months probably. I've been trying to remember what I was going to say about her. Still don't know but decided to post the picture anyway. It's a cute one even if it's a bit blurry. Sometimes good pictures are not the perfectly crisp ones, they are the ones that tell the story. Of course...

Ollie in a Box

I wanted to include this photo in my Project Life album but ran out of room so I thought I'd blog it instead. One of the great things about living with a cat is putting a box on the floor and watching what happens (I believe there are whole YouTube channels dedicated to this). Ollie and Fred naturally love boxes and will sit in them or, in Fred's case, rub themselves all over ...

If you are over visiting us there is a good chance that while you're sipping your tea Ollie is going to try your shoes on. Consequently it wasn't too surprising to discover that her favourite spot for napping while we're home for lunch is in the pool of sunshine that comes through the front door and la...

A Quick Progress Report

I just don't seem to have the drive to write long blog posts this week so this is a super quick update for my two major projects right now:

Number 1: The Crepe Dress

I got the sash cut out and sewn together on Sunday and attached the bodice to the skirt. I have a dress (and it fits too!) lacking only a hem and a proper photoshoot in order to be considered comp...

I do have three more squares done however. I present number 10 "Bowtie", number 88 "Star of Hope", and number 6 "Big Dipper". It took me ages to choose the fabrics to use for Bowtie. I sta...

All three critters were watching them this afternoon but Ollie was the funniest. Her body perfectly still and her tail flicking back and forth while she made all sorts of funny chirping noises.

I can't wait for the flocks of birds to arrive.

Four Things From Last Weekend

Is it Thursday already? Somehow this week has gone by faster than I expected. I uploaded pictures from my camera to my computer this evening and found things from last weekend.

1. Two more Farmer's Wife squares: #31 Evening Star and #61 Northern Lights. I think they both turned out well. The dark blue fabric in the Northern Lights Square is a favourite. I ordered it from Goodness when she had her Etsy shop in Japan; it has constellations and star clusters all over it.

<p style=...

We were told they were nine weeks old, immunized and micro chipped and all ready to be adopted out. We thought about it over night and calle...
