My New Favourite T-Shirt

I'm wearing this t-shirt right now and I love it. I made it two weeks ago (you saw a peak of the fabrics in my weekly 365 post) and have worn it as frequently as I could wash it since then. It's really that comfortable.

The fabric is a bamboo jersey (in two colours) that I got from The Workroom a while ago. The pattern is a version of the raglan style from Wendy Mullon's ...

Snap Pouch

Hot chocolate and a movie are always a nice way to close an evening. I love the feel of the glaze on these mugs. It makes me think of something soft or maybe fluffy ... like a marshmallow.

All Those Bobbles

Just a quick update on my second Flabella sock. It seems like it's going very slowly but that's only because the first one went so quickly (due to a greater than usual proportion of knitting time). I'm about two rounds from starting the heel and have only three bobblesleft to make. Despite the way this sock is taking longer than the first one, I think my knitting speed on the patter...

Making Tracks

With our spell of warm weather all sorts of critters have been out and about. These tracks were all seen on or near the path to work last week. Some I can recognize, others not. If you know who left a set of mystery tracks please leave a note in the comments so we'll know for next time.

Home Again

We got home yesterday afternoon but I felt too tired (especially of sitting) to write anything. It feels good to be home, to see the critters, and to sleep in our bed. Vacation photos - and a bit more text - will follow soon, along with Weeks 8 and 9 of 2010. Be warned - there are a lot of sock knitting pictures.
